BUILD MATERIALS FOR 3D PRINTING
Along with the additive technology in use, build materials are a key element in the production of parts. Each 3D printing technology works with certain types of material in the form of filament, powder or liquid. The build material co-defines the mechanical and chemical properties of the prints and thus also the practical types of use. The vast majority of industrial 3D printers can work with multiple materials.
The range of materials for 3D printing is continuously expanding as additive technologies are increasingly used in industrial production. Manufacturers of 3D printers often offer a so-called “open material” platform. Materials can thus be developed by external suppliers, whose build material is then certified by the manufacturer for commercial use. This principle is applied, for example, by HP, Voxeljet and UnionTech. Thanks to this, 3Dees Industries can offer certified materials according to your needs!

VOXELJET 3D PRINTER
BUILD MATERIALS
Voxeljet 3D printers use 2 different technologies. The build material for Powder Binder Jetting is sand and PMMA. The manufactured parts have their main application in casting for the production of metal parts and for design and architecture. High Speed Sintering (HSS) processes the plastic powder to produce functional prototypes or final parts.
Materials differ in mechanical properties and their range of applications. All materials are certified by Voxeljet!
Sand Several types of sand are on offer. In combination with various bonding agents, it is possible to process the build material to optimally meet the requirements for a specific application.

UnionTech 3D printers work on the principle of stereo lithography and are an ideal choice for industrial design. DSM is the exclusive supplier of photopolymer materials for UnionTech 3D printers. A wide range of photopolymers with different physical characteristics is available, including the production of fully transparent parts. The choice of material therefore defines the properties of the final part. All materials guarantee speed and accuracy of production and the unique surface quality of manufactured parts.
